Clyde Alcox
2013 President
Alcox has been a HBAM member for more than three decades and is a senior life director of the organization. He has also been a partner at A&D Development for 29 years. Alcox is a past president of the HBA of Greater Lansing and a senior life director of the NAHB. Email

Rich Kogelschatz, CGB, CAPS
2013 First Vice President
Kogelschatz of Heartland Builders LLC, Rockford, is an active member in the home-building industry. In addition to HBAM, he is also a director of Green Built Michigan, immediate past president for the HBA of Greater Grand Rapids Board of Directors and a NAHB director. Email

Bill Benedetto
2013 Treasurer
Bendetto has been a member of the HBA of Jackson (HBAJ) for over 20 years. During that time, he has been active on many committees and the board of directors serving as HBAJ president in 1999 and 2000. He continues his service as a local life director and a life director for HBAM and NAHB. Email

Charles Thompson
2013 Secretary
Thompson has been a licensed builder since 1978 and owns Thompson Builders.  Thompson is a member of the HBA of the Thumb as well as the HBAM and NAHB and served as a local officer, a state director, a member of the executive board while being active in the local legislative arena and contributing to Friends of Housing.

Tony Bosco, CAPS, CGA, CGP
2013 Associate Senior Officer
Bosco of Quality Windows & Doors LLC is active in the HBA of Saginaw. Bosco has received the Saginaw Distinguished Service Award in 1997-1998, the Associate of the Year Aware in 2001 and the 2009 Bill Polley BUILD-PAC Award. He is also a HBAM life director and was inducted into the NAHB Society of Honored Associates in 2007. Email

Colin Herren
2013 Immediate Past President
Herren has been very active in the HBA of Central Michigan, serving as an officer for 14 years. After working for a local builder during his high school years, he started his own business, B.C. Builders. Herren later merged with Mark Greenwald in 1999 to form Greenwald & BC Inc. which offers carpentry services for both residential and commercial properties. Email

The Regional Vice Presidents are elected by the director members from their region to communicate problems or concerns to the state and to transmit state issues to the region. The Associate Vice President represents the associate membership.
